Game Theme and Symbols

As its name suggests, Sugar Surge Multiways slot is built around a colorful candy theme. The reels are filled with bright sweets and dessert-inspired symbols, creating a playful visual atmosphere throughout the game.

Instead of relying on traditional fruit icons, the slot uses different types of candy, including lollipops, gummy bears, jelly sweets, heart-shaped candies, jelly beans, gumdrops and other colorful treats. The Milkshake Wild and Gumball Machine Scatter complement the theme while also performing important gameplay functions.

The candy presentation gives Sugar Surge Multiways an immediately recognizable identity, while the Multiways system and special features provide the mathematical and mechanical foundation of the game.

The regular symbols in Sugar Surge Multiways slot follow the game's candy concept. The reels feature a spiral-swirl lollipop, a purple gummy bear, a pink heart candy, an orange jelly or pudding symbol, a yellow-and-orange star candy, a green jelly bean and a blue gumdrop or pastille.

Wild symbol with Multiplier and Jackpots

The Milkshake is the game's special Wild symbol. Unlike the regular candy symbols, the Milkshake can appear on the third reel only. When it participates in a winning combination, it can provide a random multiplier of 3x, 4x or 5x, increasing the value of the associated win. The Milkshake Wild can also award one of the four jackpots available in Sugar Surge Multiways.

Scattered symbols and Free Spins

The Gumball Machine acts as the Scatter symbol. Landing three, four or five Gumball Machines activates the Free Spins feature, with the number of awarded spins increasing according to the number of Scatters collected.

Sugar Surge: Multiways Slot Features

Sugar Surge Multiways also includes a Free Spins feature triggered by the Gumball Machine Scatter. Three Scatters award 10 Free Spins, while four Scatters award 15 Free Spins. Landing five Gumball Machines increases the award to 20 Free Spins.

The Free Spins feature provides a separate sequence of spins in which players can continue to pursue winning combinations and the game's special symbols. Since the Milkshake Wild can produce multipliers and jackpots, the feature also provides additional opportunities for these mechanics to appear during the bonus round.

Wild Multiplier Feature

The Wild Multiplier Feature is one of the central mechanics in Sugar Surge Multiways. The Milkshake Wild can appear on the third reel and substitute for appropriate regular symbols when forming winning combinations.

Its most important characteristic is its random multiplier. When the Wild contributes to a qualifying win, it can apply a 3x, 4x or 5x multiplier to the winning amount. This means that the same underlying combination can produce a significantly different result depending on which multiplier is applied.

The restriction of the Milkshake Wild to the third reel makes its appearance particularly important, as players need the special symbol to land in its designated position before its multiplier and jackpot capabilities can come into play.

Jackpot Feature

Another important feature of Sugar Surge Multiways videoslot is its four-tier jackpot system. The Milkshake Wild appearing on the third reel can award one of four symbol-driven jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major or Grand.

The Mini Jackpot awards 10x the bet amount, while the Minor Jackpot awards 20x the bet. The Major Jackpot increases the award to 100x the bet amount, and the Grand Jackpot represents the highest tier at 1,000x the bet.

These jackpot values are expressed as multiples of the bet amount, rather than as progressive jackpots that increase over time. The Grand Jackpot therefore represents a potential award equivalent to 1,000 times the applicable bet.

Game Mechanics and Mobile Compatibility

Sugar Surge Multiways slot game uses a six-reel, three-row layout based on an All-Way-Pays system. The reels can contain between two and six symbols, creating different configurations and allowing the number of potential winning combinations to expand depending on the symbols displayed.

The game can offer up to 7,776 winning combinations. Rather than requiring symbols to land on predetermined paylines, the All-Way-Pays mechanic evaluates matching symbols appearing on adjacent reels from left to right.

This means that a winning combination can be formed when matching symbols appear on consecutive reels, beginning from the left side of the game. The variable number of symbols on the reels is an important part of the Multiways concept because it determines how many possible symbol connections can be created on a particular spin.

The six-reel structure therefore gives Sugar Surge Multiways a different gameplay experience from traditional fixed-payline slots. Instead of following a set group of paylines, players are presented with a larger network of possible adjacent-symbol combinations.

Sugar Surge Multiways slot is available in both Mobile and Instant Play versions, making the game suitable for players who prefer accessing casino games through smartphones, tablets or web browsers.

The mobile version allows the candy-themed reels and Multiways mechanics to be accessed on compatible mobile devices, while the Instant Play version provides browser-based access without requiring a separate software download.

Availability may vary between casino operators and jurisdictions, so players should always check whether the title is offered by their particular online casino and whether online casino gaming is permitted in their location.

Conclusion

Sugar Surge Multiways slot by WGS Technology combines a bright candy-themed presentation with a six-reel Multiways game format and a collection of additional features. The game's up to 7,776 ways to win provide the foundation for its gameplay, while the variable reel heights create different numbers of potential winning combinations from spin to spin.

The Milkshake Wild is the game's central special symbol, appearing on the third reel and providing the possibility of a 3x, 4x or 5x multiplier. The same Wild can also trigger one of four jackpots, ranging from the 10x Mini Jackpot to the 1,000x Grand Jackpot.

The Gumball Machine Scatter provides another major feature by activating Free Spins when three or more Scatters appear. Depending on the number of Scatters, players can receive 10, 15 or 20 Free Spins.

Combining its candy-inspired theme, All-Way-Pays mechanics, Wild multipliers, Free Spins and four jackpot levels, Sugar Surge Multiways video-slot offers a feature-rich slot concept from WGS Technology. Its availability in Mobile and Instant Play versions also makes the game accessible across different playing environments.

For players searching for a candy-themed Multiways slot featuring up to 7,776 ways to win, Wild multipliers, Free Spins and bet-based jackpots, Sugar Surge Multiways brings these mechanics together in a single colorful slot experience.
